Hello fellow Canadians,
Yesterday I went to Shoppers and purchased lipsticks that were buy one get one free. Although it is too late for that one, there will be another one tomorrow for nail polishes.
Some of the products I've purchased on BOGO based on regular price and others are based on sale price, so depends on you luck! However, if you've been eyeing a nail polish it is a good time to pick it up. Also if you are planning to pick up more than 2 polishes, you will need to print off a separate coupon for each set.
The sale is on from 6 - 9 PM only and you can print it off here:

Let me know if you got anything from these BOGO sales!

L'oreal Colour Riche Caresse - 174 Rose Taffeta (Swatch + Review)
Happy Saturday! Just thought I'd do a quick share on my current favourite lipstick. It's the L'oreal Colour Riche Caresse in 174 Rose Taffeta. The packaging of this tube is very elegant. It is a golden mirror finish and the share is shown in both the top label and incorporated into the packaging strip. Some might complain that the feel is like cheap plastic, however, I just like how lightweight it is. The only thing I would complain is that this packaging is a finger print magnet.
This colour is a very pretty natural rose pink. The formula is very buttery, and soft. It glides on very easily, and doesn't settle into the creases. However, because of this formula is very moisturizing, I find that it wears of relatively quickly. I usually have to re-apply every 2 hours. I do not line my lips.
Below first picture below is of my bare lips, and the second picture is when I applied 2 light layers of the lipstick. As you can see my lips, especially my top lip, is pretty pigmented. But the lipstick was able to be opaque enough to give my lips an even colour, a my lips but better look. As I mentioned before, it doesn't settle into any of creases, and feels very light on my lips. Also, this lipstick has a slight shine today.
Overall, I do recommend this lipstick. The colour is pigmented, the formula is buttery, and it hides my creases. It is almost like an all in one, because it is moisturizing, and gives off a nice glossy finish. The only downside is that you have to re-apply often and the colour does transfer easily.
Do you have a favourite "my lips but better" lipstick?
